About Utah DSC
Conservation. Education. Promote and Protect.
The Utah Chapter of the Dallas Safari Club is organized and operated exclusively for the charitable purposes of wildlife conservation and hunter education. We further these purposes primarily by making grants to 501(c)(3) organizations dedicated to wildlife conservation or hunter education.
The Chapter is proudly affiliated with the Dallas Safari Club, a world-wide leader in funding and promoting wildlife conservation. As an affiliated chapter, the Chapter will support and adhere to the objectives, policies, and other standards established by DSC, including DSC’s Code of Ethics.
The Utah Chapter raises funds and promotes knowledge of wildlife conservation through fun events for members. We organize educational programs to improve hunter safety as well as knowledge of the North American Model of Conservation and fair chase principles.

Our Mission
DSC Utah’s mission is to ensure the conservation of wildlife through public engagement, education and advocacy for well-regulated hunting and sustainable use.
Our Vision
The vision of DSC Utah is a society that values wildlife, engages in its conservation and understands and supports the role of well-regulated hunting in the sustainable use of wild resources.
DSC Utah Chapter
A member of International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), DSC is a mission-focused conservation organization, funded by hunters from around the world.
With an administrative staff of less than 15 and a volunteer army of 500, DSC hosts an annual Convention that raises funds for grants in conservation, education and advocacy.
In the past couple years, millions of dollars have been channeled to qualified projects, organizations and programs in support of that mission.
Join us in our mission of Conservation, Education, and Advocacy.
CONSERVATION
DSC funds mission-driven projects, organizations, and programs annually throughout the conservation community: desert bighorn sheep reintroduction and habitat enhancement in Texas; moose, elk, and caribou projects in British Columbia; elephant and lion projects in Africa; anti-poaching efforts abroad and many others.
EDUCATION
Through outreach efforts and informational content that introduces shooting and science-based wildlife management to growing demographics, DSC is ensuring a legacy of well-informed future sportsmen, sportswomen and conservationists. DSC funds additional education-based programs to further this part of the mission year-round.
ADVOCACY
DSC and DSC-PAC have been very successful in defeating legislation that would severely curtail our ability to hunt and negatively affect wildlife and habitat across the globe. By providing action alerts and up-to-date news, DSC equips its members as ambassadors for sustainable use in their community.
